How to stop gmod from ing addons

I have multicore rendering on already, it does nothing.Įdit 1: Don't tell me I don't know coding, how much 'stress' it puts on a computer etc. Anyone know why the hell a high end gaming PC with 8GB ram, GTX 970, I7 4790K is giving trouble to run such a simple, ancient game with terrible graphics? Other people have had the issue but I've never seen it solved. I have lots of addons installed but have uninstalled quite a few recently to reduce this.

I go from FPS in the hundreds to 0-15 for 2-3 seconds randomly.
